Concerto Stars, with the Lions Gate Sinfonia Orchestra
This was the start of a very long project, called Concerto Stars. It was a fantastic opportunity for South Fraser students to have the chance to perform with an orchestra, the Lions Gate Sinfonia from North shore, in a concert hall, the Bell Performing Arts Centre in Surrey. Students from South Fraser were invited to audition with test pieces November 13-15 at North Wood United Church. Over 80 students were chosen to move on to the next level in January, where 40 would be selected for the final concerts.
