The South Fraser branch held its 5th Honours Recital to celebrate excellent achievement by our students in the examination systems. Students with the highest and second highest marks in each grade were invited to perform at the recital. Trophies, Honourable Mention certificates, ARCT certificates and scholarships were presented at the end. Eighteen (18) of the fifty nine (59) entries received 90% or higher.
Eight (8) trophies and four (4) scholarships were given out. This year, a gold medal for Intermediate Pedagogy was awarded. In total there were four (4) gold medals, two for violin. There were nineteen (19) honourable mention certificates and eight (8) ARCT certificates.
